Cisco SPA 112- Fax ATA Setup

This guide is intended for customers on the newest platform.

An analog telephone adapter (ATA) is a device for connecting traditional analog fax machines to a digital telephone system or a voice over IP telephony network.  Currently the only approved Fax ATA we sell and provision is the Cisco SPA 112. In order to provision this device a few steps must be taken first. 

1. Make sure there is a Fax ATA Line is on the account. If not, this will need to be added accordingly, and the new fee will be reflected on the next billing cycle (the cost is $14.95 per month). If you need assistance with this step please contact our support team.

2. Create the user on the PBX (default user should be under 9500 extension range). If you need assistance with this step please contact our support team.

3. Add the Cisco SPA 112 device on the phone tab for the new Fax ATA User accordingly.If you need assistance with this step please contact our support team.

4. Follow the steps to provision the device outlined on the attached document.
